Laser Hair Therapy
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)
The first Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) device was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in January 2007 for the treatment of mild to moderate male pattern hair loss; the HairMax LaserComb.
The LaserComb is an over-the-counter, medical device and cannot be used in the salon. However, the cosmetic LLLT machine used at Trinity Lace Wigs can be used in our salon/spa, wig store and has 92 (8-10 times more) of the same laser diodes than the model used in the FDA study. Cosmetic lasers are not medical devices and do not claim to make physiological changes, i.e. grow hair. Cosmetic lasers are used to improve the appearance of the hair by creating a fuller, thicker look and feel to the hair.
Men and women undergoing this therapy have reported seeing fuller and thicker appearance in the hair. Some results are as seen in the following TV shows/ new stories:
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) – The Drs TV Show
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) – Real Before and After
Is Laser Hair Therapy Safe?

Treatments: How Long and How Often?
Each laser session lasts for 15-30 minutes and is given twice weekly. The number of treatments is determined by both the extent of the hair loss and the condition of the hair. The length of time varies with each individual.

Hair Loss in Women
You don’t have to put up with hair loss anymore. There are many ways to deal with your hair loss. Trinity Hair Restoration Studio offers the best and most viable option for women to address their thinning hair. Our low-level light therapy (LLLT) provides an alternative for women battling hair loss and hair thinning that is non-invasive, relatively inexpensive, and efficient to use.
We use an innocuous technology – light therapy – to evenly apply monochromatic red laser light at 650 nm in wavelength to the affected area of hair loss on the head. Our salon laser has Class 3a (650nM/5mw) laser diodes (lights), which is the optimum power and wavelength for Laser Hair Therapy (Laser Hair Enhancement).
Hair Loss in Men
We all know that hair loss changes how we look, but it can also affect how we feel about ourselves. Perhaps you’re experiencing a decline in self-esteem or feeling less confident at work or in social situations. Our society identifies the loss of hair with growing older and slowing down. Even though you may not feel those things, how others see you, and how you see yourself, impacts your behavior.
ale Pattern Baldness, a condition affecting more than two-thirds of all males, is the result of hormonal changes that cause the hair follicle to shrink and grow at a steadily slower rate. Eventually, growth ceases completely and the hair falls out, usually in a predictable pattern. The vast majority of men in this country have significantly thinning hair by age 50. You’re not alone.
